Raffaele Piccoli is soft-spoken young ceramicist from Sicily who specializes in the art of Raku. In 2004, Raffaele started a ceramics workshop in the Abbey of San Martino delle Scale, not far from Palermo, where he teaches and creates all of his pieces. His works are shown in several stores and galleries in Sicily and on the mainland.

We were drawn to the richness of color in Raffaele's pieces and their simplicity. His jewelry is striking in a quiet simple way. Make sure you see his Raku bowls as well.

This is a very simple, versatile necklace. Hanging from the fine silver wire is a solid square of colorful ceramic, enhanced by a small amount of silver. We're highlighting this necklace in three stunning colors- choose from Mare Turquoise, Rich Blue or Sicilian Red. You can very simply cut the silver choker to your perfect length. Wire measures 19 1/2" long and pendant is approx 1 3/4"square.
